Dr. Susan Sheahan is a dynamic speaker and educator for many dental topics. She graduated from Nova SE University and obtained an AEGD from the Air Force after graduation. She trained with The Breathe Institute and completed the Master Series at Implant Seminars. Since 2007, she has built her practice, Cortez Dental, in Bradenton Florida and has 2 associates. Her passion is the topic of oxygen deprivation as it relates to many dental and health dysfunctions. She is a platinum provider of the POD and the Homeoblock which is featured in James Nestor’s book, “Breath, the New Science of a Lost Art”.
Dr. Sheahan is a liaison for the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry, an Ambassador of The Breathe Institute, a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, ADA, FDA, and AGD. She is the founder of Breathing and Functional Dentistry.
